The Wrap Gown
The wrap gown began the way every piece does here — as a sketch, then a handful of variations, then a fabric and a color palette chosen together.
It went through more revisions than she can count before it found what she calls the balance between unique and simple — the point where a design is finished. The silhouette stayed fitted through the bodice, softened only where it needed to move.
The visible stitching along every seam is deliberate. It is the kind of detail she can spend hours perfecting that most people would never notice — and the part of the work she is proudest of getting right.
